Army SPC Jan Sprague was a Veteran of OIF as well as the Gulf War. He passed away in 2025.

His mother, Robin, left the following tribute: “As a child Jan was very intelligent. He was athletic, he excelled in many sports. He was well liked by his peers. He had a great sense of humor. … He was kind to everyone, helping strangers without judgement. He was very proud of his military service. He was my hero, my son and my best friend.”

Sprague is laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
