@Me_Lissa85#wuedt6020 Although I believe that it is important to stay" ahead of the game" and find out how students are successfully cheating, I think the more beneficial route is to help the kids understand the purpose behind the work they are doing and what they're learning.
@ericbeaman#wuedt6020 Sorry, I am still figuring out twitter. I think that there are already technologies out there that use smell to enhance the flavor of food. I just think it would be cool if you remembered how to balance an equation or debug a program from "fesh linen",

I have seen technologies out there that are "flavor enhancing" using smell. Imagine if you were reminded of how to write a sonnet, debug a program, or divide polynomials whenever you smelled "fresh linen". I just think it
is a neat idea worth exploring.
@nicoleabes618#wuedt6020 I have encouraged students to develop full instructional units through Google Docs. Students collaborate as they develop Google slides presentations, assess their progress through Google forms, and incorporate videos.
#wuedt6020@Hickman_wilmU I teach highschool science and my students really love the web2.0 tools associated with www.biomanbio. The educational games are accurate and relatively infomative; students like that they play like typical videogames.
#wuedt6020@ericbeaman I think that the gamification of education is characterized by competition. It will be hard to get away from "winning & losing" mentalities until the students understand that the purpose of the activity is to learn; meanwhile I suggest cooperative games.
@LatoriaBanks @DVaughan35 I never thought about having my students develop epals. I remember when I used to have a pen pal in elementary school; skype and other learning platforms would be a great way to connect people globally.
#wuedt6020 Twitter can be used to connect students globally. After following a professional in the field of biology, students can retweet (with a personal comment) a post and introduce their peers to the professional that they are following.
@KarenDekker I couldn't agree with you more about Mobile Learning. I like the idea of having class on the go; students can access a lesson virtually anywhere, anytime. So cool. #wuedt6020
