Sending our condolences to @BrownUniversity and to the families of the victims in Bondi Beach. Students shouldn’t have to fear for their lives and families celebrating Hanukkah shouldn’t be attacked. This is all too much. #stoptheviolence
National Stop the Violence Alliance, Inc. is heartbroken after hearing about the murder, targeting, and hate crime committed against O’Shae Sibley. No one should be killed for simply existing and for showing joy. To the LGBTQ community, we stand with you always.
We are deeply saddened by the shooting that took place in Nashville, Tennessee. We can’t say this any louder: we need a ban on assault weapons. Our children are DYING. If that’s not a wake up call, I don’t know what it is. #BanAssaultWeapons
‘ANTI’ and ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ by @Rihanna are projected to return to the top 20 on the US albums chart, at #13 and #17 respectively, @HITSDD reports.
We are so saddened to hear about the untimely death of #TakeOff by gun violence. 28 years old is FAR too young. Condolences to his family, friends, and those who loved him the most.
If we cannot protect individuals who are targeted because of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, age, class, or any other status, then we are a HELPLESS NATION. We must do something RIGHT NOW.
There are no words to express how we feel as we hear of yet ANOTHER senseless act of violence. Nearly two weeks ago, an 18 year old targeted Black patrons in Buffalo, NY, killing 10 and today, this country mourns the loss of 19 children and 2 teachers. We must do something.
We are calling on the US Senate SPECIFICALLY to pass stronger gun laws. We are the only country in the world with a large number of mass killings but no actions to stop them. If we cannot protect our BABIES, then we are a helpless and soulless nation.
@andy, as a nonviolent organization, we request that Candiace be removed. Being shady is one thing. Being verbally violent and targeting people in recovery is wrong. She is a common denominator for violence. She has to go. — Dr. Coney, Founder/CEO
