Campaigning since 2012, first as National Dis-Trust, then Stop Hunting on the Nation's Land, to ban hunting on publicly-funded and publicly-owned land.
Quantock Staghounds hunting on @nationaltrust Vinny Combe as usual. Video of quad going up and down looking for tracks of the hunted stag and riders on point kicked off. Shortly afterwards a shot was heard and cheering. Did they kill on National Trust land? With @wlguardian

Quantock Staghounds
1/2 One of these stags was singled-out and chased for over 2 hours. With @NDHuntSabs @wlguardian & @Sabsthree we managed to make life difficult for the hunt all day and the stag managed to escape. No kills today. Full report to follow.
1) The more I research for my upcoming article called "Unmasking Cubbing: Coverts, Early Mornings, and the Hunting Act 2004" the more convinced I am that "Cubbing" is the most obvious form of illegal fox hunting under the Hunting Act 2004.
@markjenkinsonmp Black Combe Beagles illegally hunting a hare on @nationaltrust land earlier this year. This hunt is currently being investigated by @cumbriapolice, yet @markjenkinsonmp sees a shameless photo opportunity whilst promoting wildlife crime.
@markjenkinsonmp But you're a supporter of illegal hunting and have even had a recent photo taken with Black Combe Beagles, a hunt that is being investigated by police for illegally hunting a hare on @nationaltrust land
Horse abuse on the Devon and Somerset Staghounds "road hunt" yesterday. 3 hours of cantering on tarmac as the terrified stag ran an estimated 12 miles. 1 horse fell over. Riders quickly fell behind and it was up to quads and vehicle followers to track the stag and hounds. Madness
Sheep worrying is a criminal offence. You’d wonder why any farmer would allow a hunt through a field where pregnant and nursing mothers are. Yesterday the Beaufort Hunt caused the abandonment of these babies. We still do not know if they were reunited before it was too late.
Humberside Police facilitate Grove and Rufford Fox Hunting by escorting saboteurs away in clear pro hunt bias. Were these your officers @Humberbeat_RTF ? https://t.co/NEhZ5et4jh
Hampshire: Police investigating after dozens of dead animals dumped outside shop.
Time Bonner ( pro hunting Countryside Alliance)said without irony "There's a section of society who - whether it's poaching, theft - generally seem to disregard the law."
https://t.co/ARpPl0sr1R
So the Countryside Alliance is promoting a report claiming RSPB & United Utilities are creating an 'environmental disaster' in the Lakes - written by the dude who defamed @ChrisGPackham
The fact that UU are ending grouse shooting on their estates has nowt to do with this, obvs🧵
@southeastNT@nationaltrust Reports ARE being passed to the police, who say @nationaltrust are not liaising - stop fobbing off your members and visitors with these insincere responses.
@southeastNT@nationaltrust If @WildlifeTrusts can do it why can't NT? They aren't relying on visitors to report to police, who then tell them they can't do anything. @nationaltrust is too enmeshed with illegal hunting, with tenants and land agents taking part in hunting and terrier work in some areas.
@HilaryMcGrady@nationaltrust members voted to end hunting on NT land in 2021. So why has NT retained its 'trailhunting management' staff at a cost to the membership? And why is illegal hunting of foxes, stags and hares occurring so frequently on @nationaltrust land?
No kill for the Devon & Somerset Staghounds today. After tormenting him up and down the steep River Exe valley at Winsford, the incredibly fit young stag made a run for the moors and disappeared in the gorse on Winsford Hill. Sabs returned soaked but jubilant! w/@mendiphuntsabs
