@SensBuzz Hronek, after QH43 trades he literally did everything for the Canucks on the back end. First PP, first PK, 6 on 5, pretty sure if he went down somehow the Canucks would of ended the season with even less points
@CoryHergott I think hoglander you could probably get a 4th or 5th for, while Gallagher probably comes with a 5th or 6th. If getting rid of hogs, think as 2 separate trades brings in more total assets
@PeteBlackburn Quinn telling all these guys, “yo trust me, getting traded to a good team is so much better than being on a bad team” put it in their minds and now they’re all asking to get traded to Minny to win a cup with each other too
@WishIwasOnAbeac@RedWingDiehards It applies to all contracts. All extensions regardless of age of player or number of contract or term of contract cannot be signed until 1 year prior to the expiry of the current active contract. As such, he still cannot sign an extension with Minn until July 1st
@EricMacramalla Unironically, canadiens could 1 stop shop at Canucks for everything but no. 3. Petterson/rossi, DeBrusk, Hronek solves 1,2,4 and honestly I’d imagine if it’s pettersson, only asset that would cost a bunch is hronek
@_HockeyJesus@JFreshHockey The rumour was that Quinn told EVERY team he wouldn’t verbally agree to an extension. Despite this, it was actually speculated the place he was most likely to sign an extension was Detroit. Regardless he can’t actually sign one till July 1st, 2026.
@WishIwasOnAbeac@RedWingDiehards Quinn can’t sign an extension. In fact he still can’t. Not until July 1, 2026. He still had 1.5 years left on his deal at the time.
@HabsLaughs As a Canucks fan, this is some insane logic by this guy. I think absolute most habs have to add is maybe a 3rd or 4th? I think more likely it’s a 5th they add for Canucks to take on full contract.
@Sapsterr_ I see what you’re saying definitely. I guess my definition is just a little different, as I would consider a self rental when you start the year in the organization and then they let them play in the playoffs knows they’re leaving. While Rantanen is just a normal rental.
@Adamkblat The Canucks should trade the 2026,2027, and 2028 first round picks they got from Minny for a top10 pick this year. Before the league and Minny find out that they accidentally included them in the Hughes trade😂😂
@LaheyHNIC Also Dobson got 2 firsts. Besides dobsons 1 good year, he’s a 40-50 point right handed defensman. Dobson is not THAT much better than hronek, and if you consider the contracts as well, I don’t get why people don’t think hronek is worth 2 firsts.
