In light of government advice and because we are staffed mainly by volunteers over 70 or with underlying health conditions, we are shutting from today. We hope to reopen when it is safe to do so.

@wylie_alan Here in Hampshire there is a £1 charge to reserve a book! Crazy, when you can buy a second hand book for that price!

The proposal to make volunteer run libraries ‘Independent Community Owned’, completely detached from the County, means -
* NO new books
* NO Reserved Books
* NO inter-library loans
* NO ‘GoOnline’ Computer
* NO free public WiFi
* NO Library staff
* NO County Funding
