Yesterday, NTM staff at all locations enjoyed a popular office celebration—our annual Cinco de Mayo lunch! Staff enjoyed a taco bar complete with a variety of chips, dips, chicken and beef tacos, and non-alcoholic margaritas. It's always a good day when tacos are involved! 🌮
NTM Senior Engineer Josiah Newman gave a tour of the Park Hills Drainageway last week to the @PennStateCEE Capstone course students. The project, completed in Oct. 2024, is approximately one mile from Penn State's main campus. NTM was the prime consultant on this project.
On this #EarthDay, we encourage finding ways to make a positive, lasting impact in our environment, such as native gardening. Our Env. Scientist, Alyssa Hovanec, snapped these photos of Christmas fern fiddleheads at one of our project sites, which can help prevent erosion.

Several of our archaeological staff attended the 95th Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology Annual Meeting this past weekend in DuBois, PA. Presentations at the meeting covered a wide range of interesting topics, including one by our own Laura Broughton!

We wrapped up our #MarchMadness spirit week with Hat Day! Although not everyone opted for a photo, there was still a great variety of fun hats on display. Our State College office also celebrated with a potluck yesterday, showing off an impressive mix of sportswear!
Day 3 of our #MarchMadness spirit week consisted of basketball shots, sportswear, and potlucks, of course! There may have also been an #AprilFools prank in the form of a very cleverly disguised Brussels sprout!
