It appears that the coalition is in favor of SLU membership & against monarchism. Neutrality shall be maintained on matters related to the NSLeft, even though New Lettia holds an ambassadorial role in The Leftist Assembly, an NSLeft member region.
According to many sources, the economy was the main unifying issue, with the parties taking compromises on SLU Membership, the NSLeft, Monarchism and various social issues, just to keep the incumbent government out.
BREAKING: Joe Holman (Unity, centre-right) has become PM as coalition negotiations have concluded with centrist New Democrats; right-wing Republicans and far-left LWB in confidence & supply. That leaves incumbent PM Vanessa Thurmond (Social Democrats, centre-left) in opposition.
The final result has now been confirmed & negotiations have begun between Unity and the Republicans: key issues expected to be SLU membership and, possibly, monarchism. Note: you need 174 seats for a majority, but U/R have 138 (36 more needed).

Multiple sources: If the exit poll is accurate, FB & G will go into official opposition, won't enter any coalition negotiations. Thus Unity are effectively guaranteed to become a coalition party. #newlettiadecides
Mr. Enderson, political analyst: "What coalition is even possible right now? The current one has collapsed, Unity can't build a coalition unless they work with FB, PP, LWB or a ruling party & all are highly unlikely, and the SD need support from the far-left. π We may be stuck."
Most polls up to tonight have been indicating that we will have a clear change of power, with the Greens (coalition party) really struggling, even going to last place in the most recent survey.
