SA as venue for serious #African events is prolly a mismatch. The place is overrated.

I'll look at a Kenya and a Botswana for the south.

But for tourism? Yes! I recount my experience at the Robben Island. And some other places in Cape Town.

Bad news: The Village Fire Joburg has been postponed due to SA visa issues for some of the speakers.

The SA visa process is the most convoluted in the world. It must be fixed.

E.g. I have a 10 year UK visa but can't get a 2-week SA visa in time for the seminar.

It's a shame.
