Nigerian Classism is interesting.

I once had this family friend who was also a neighbour. For context, he has money, got his degree in England and carries a British passport.

One day, his car didn't start and he decided to take BRT to work. One of his friends was driving pass and saw someone that looked like him on the BRT queue and he decided to call him to confirm.

The man: I see person wey be like you for BRT but I know it can't be you, so I decided to confirm to fulfill all righteousness.

Family friend: Yes, it's me. I'm going to work. My car wouldn't start.

The man: Oboy you don big pass this one na. How you go dey jump bus?

No be you dey BRT, na you dey embarrassed on another person behalf. We are too funny as a people. What is shameful about BRT? Funny how it was even early days of BRT.
