Young women carry the heaviest burden of corruption. It limits their access to education, jobs, health services and opportunities.
This Women’s Month, we are calling on young women to step forward and lead the fight for integrity and accountability. Your voice matters. Your leadership is needed.
If you are a young Zimbabwean woman aged 18–30, this is your moment. Join the School of Integrity for Emerging Leaders and be part of a generation that refuses corruption.
Young men are also encouraged to apply and stand alongside women for accountable leadership.

We are pleased to announce that Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) has won the 2025 NANGO Communicator of the Year Award.
This recognition speaks to the strength of our evidence-driven communication, our ability to break down complex governance issues, and our consistent effort to put integrity and accountability at the centre of national dialogue. Through strategic media engagement, clear messaging, and continuous outreach, we have kept corruption, service delivery challenges, and resource governance issues firmly on the public agenda.
Our communication work has shared light on corruption risks across key sectors, amplified community concerns, and supported citizens to demand better from public institutions. We have used data, facts, and lived experiences to shape conversations that matter in policy spaces, in the media, and at community level. This award confirms that our approach is not only impactful but aligned with the needs of citizens and the wider governance ecosystem.
As TI Z, we remain committed to building a Zimbabwe where corruption has no space.
Resist, Reject and Report Corruption.

“If I was your age which, unfortunately for myself, I am no longer, I would not have failed to take advantage of this crucible of wisdom, the School of Integrity for Emerging Leaders, and learn to acquire all leadership qualities it possesses, so that I am molded into a complete leader before assuming my leadership position in our society.
The long and short of what I am saying is that you who are here should consider yourselves lucky to have been selected to undertake the course you are going through.
The possibility of you being turned into responsible citizens of our beloved Zimbabwe is more real than fanciful. It is imperative, therefore, that you grab the opportunity which has been availed to you and run with it for your own good as well as for the good of Zimbabwe.”
Retired Honourable Justice David Mangota speaking at the ongoing 2025 School of Integrity for Emerging Leaders

Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) has called on Government Ministries, State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and local authorities to reduce human interaction in public service delivery to prevent and combat public sector corruption.
The call comes in the wake of the recent Auditor General’s Report (AGR), which exposed widespread irregularities in public procurement, highlighting that several entities failed to comply with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act.

Transparency International Zimbabwe is hosting the Inclusive Service Delivery Africa (ISDA) Integrity Ambassadors Project Review, Learning, and Planning Workshop.
Day 2 shifted focus to planning. Through group discussions and outcome harvesting sessions, participants identified emerging threats and opportunities, while drafting action plans for the next phase. The ISDA project, supported by Global Affairs Canada, seeks to strengthen citizen voices, promote transparency, and ensure equal access to education and healthcare across Zimbabwe.

On the occasion of the ninth African Anti-Corruption Day, under the theme of “Promoting Human Dignity in the Fight Against Corruption,”
@anticorruption – through its
Secretariat and 28 National Chapters across all of Africa’s Regional Economic Communities –
take this opportunity to:
1. Commend the African Union (AU) for upholding the centrality of service to Africa’s
people through both the AU theme for 2025,
"Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations” And the AU anticorruption theme for 2025,
“Promoting Human Dignity in the Fight Against Corruption,”
2. Remind Africa’s leaders that while corruption undermines human dignity in every
form, its impact hits hardest at the most vulnerable and marginalised communities,
and most often, women and girls. This is most frequently evidenced in undermining
basic and essential services, education, health and justice systems, across Africa.
