Hello everyone! I'm your @Trentstudents VP Opportunities for the 21/22 year...

Term 3 may have ended, but my workload hasn’t!

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks sat on interview panels hiring both our student and external trustees, as well as a new Opportunities Coordinator!

Looking forward to working with them all next year - roll on Freshers 2021🤩

Today is International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK🧠
Yesterday was the beginning of mental health awareness week and this years theme is 'Nature'. Being outside and exploring nature has been found to improve mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

Since restrictions eased back in April we have been running terrace sessions at Clifton and Brackenhurst and they have been unbelievable! 🌇🥳

Zoë has done an amazing job this month raising awareness of testicular cancer and tackling the stigma surrounding checking for lumps 👏

As the month comes to an end I look back at the month and proudly say I’ve stood at the testicle stall for 50+ hours throughout the month. Educating students & public about the importance of checking for lumps and having the very important conversations to help tackle the stigma.

TESTICULAR CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🍒

This month we are raising awareness of testicular cancer as the most common cancer found in young men but 70% of men don’t check their testicles.
