One of the Presidential candidate for 2027 general elections emerged with 10m votes from primary elections within his political party and others are still going ahead to contest against him.
WIKE: “Hello Chief of Defence Staff, your boys are stopping me from accessing the land in my own FCT.”
CDS: “Sorry about that, Honorable Minister sir. Please give one of my boys the phone.”
WIKE: “Take the phone, your boss wants to speak with you. My friend takeeee!”😒
Officer Yerima: “Hello sir.” (On realizing who was on the phone he took his hands out of his pocket, identify himself and greeted properly.)
CDS: “See Yerima, I don't have the time and strength to talk too much. Don't allow that man enter that premises. If you do, consider your job gone.”
Officer Yerima: "Roger that sir"
WIKE: “You have spoken with the CDS, now get out of my way.”
Officer Yerima: “Sorry sir, but I can't allow you access to this land. I'm an officer, I have integrity.”
WIKE: “Shut up! Get out. You are a fool. When I was bla bla you were still breastfeeding. Get out.”
After all was said and done, Wike and his men left.
Notice the disrespect: the officer had his hands in his pockets while confronting Wike, a clear sign of disregard for authority. But the moment he realized he was speaking to the CDS on the phone, he quickly stepped back, composed himself, and removed his hands from his pockets.
When Wike watches that video and realizes the level of disrespect in that gesture, Allah he might shutdown Abuja. If you are Abuja resident, you better start looking for where to stay.😆
THEN again,
Wike’s security detail are so terrible. If I were him I would sack them all and get new ones. Your principal was in danger, and nobody could pull him back immediately for safety; they let him keep confronting armed military men who could have shot him, go to jail and quietly released later by top officers after Tinubu’s tenures are over, while Wike might be dead and gone.
The duty of every security detail is to protect the principal’s life first, ego last. Instead, they wanted to fight the soldiers, forgetting that their job isn’t to prove loyalty through violence but to protect through intelligence and restraint.
Maybe, just maybe, they had tried to be professional before, but Wike, being who he thinks he is, must have shut them down or embarrassed them in the past for doing their job. So now, they just stand by and watch him walk into danger, because you can’t protect a man who believes he’s untouchable.
I believe that leadership is not by shouting or intimidation; it’s by wisdom, composure, and understanding the weight of power. The moment your security team loses the authority to guide or restrain you in moments of danger, you’re finished...not because enemies are too strong, but because ego has blinded your sense of survival.
Therapy will never work for a man.
There's nothing in the entire training of a therapist that will equip him/her to talk to the issues of a typical man.
Men need other men.
Especially other men who have been outside.
Men need older men.
Especially older men who have scars.
@Naija_PR relationships now feel like a contest of who can care less, with little depth. Men and women are guilty of prioritizing money and personal comfort over genuine connection. Sacrifice has become rare, and empathy, sensitivity, and emotional intelligence are increasingly absent.
