@prodbyisabelle@Technicals_ Yeah, let’s leave it up to whoever can buy the most expensive lawyer, that’s definitely an apt judgement of who’s telling the truth. I’m sure there has never been somebody who threatens legal action towards people for talking about a crime that they committed.
@Sparg0ssb@deboskii604 Do you know why we’re so loyal? Because all we wanted to do was play the game and host tournaments and Nintendo tried for YEARS to shut us down. So yeah, we have a bit of a chip on our shoulder because Nintendo was actively trying to kill our game for no conceivable reason.
@KnRzel@Sparg0ssb True, neither of them are bad games, but I think it’s fair to say that being played competitively for 25 consecutive years with an audience that’s still growing is more impressive than selling a lot of copies. Good marketing can sell games, but it won’t keep people playing.
@Sparg0ssb Melee has a lot of quirks like forced tap jump, character specific bugs/exploits, and sometimes motherfuckers just fall through the stage on stadium. But if you can get past that, its fast paced, edge-guard heavy, with some of the coolest looking tech of any platform fighter.
@MVD731 You mean the esports that Nintendo doesn’t wanna get involved in and that have been running fine without their input? Or did you mean the popular ones that Nintendo has no claim over? I like smash, but as far as esports go, it’s pretty niche.
@gaiuschibueze@elonmusk@RayDalio Why are you being so vague about it? Just give your opinion in a straightforward way and stop all this pussyfooting around the answer. What you’re describing is the eradication of capitalism, but it feels like you’re too scared to say that.
@SStricklandMMA Says the guy who loves sweating with shirtless men in a cage. Only difference is you’re beating the fuck out of each other while you’re hooking up.
@IDsFantasy Hey, do you have any idea if something went wrong? I'm glad we have the link because it looks like it got unlisted from the Game Theory channel.
