Kentucky is paying the start-up costs for a private hair salon because… 🤷♂️
This month, the state of Kentucky approved sending almost $3,000 to “Sweet Magnolia Salon” to cover its “start-up costs and preliminary expenses.”
Additionally, when I searched “Sweet Magnolia Salon” in Kentucky’s Business Entity Search, I could not find any business registered with the state using that name or a DBA.
Is $3,000 a lot of money? No. But it is taxpayer money being given to a chosen private entity. As a conservative, I do not believe government should be picking winners and losers in the business world—big or small.
Neither Ford nor a local hair salon deserves even one penny of your tax money.
My mother, the woman who adopted me, raised over 275 foster children. All while dad and I raised 120 acres of tobacco and hay.
Instead of putting a statue of Mitch McConnell at the Kentucky Capitol rotunda, I think we should erect a statue of her.

I don’t care who thinks I’m crazy. I’m typing from the bedroom floor of my son’s room bc I’m terrified. There were demons in my dream- actual demons. I kept trying to cry out to Jesus but all I could do was mumble. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thomas Massie just declared: “This government is under siege.”
And he exposed Susie Wiles and Pam Bondi for taking “millions of dollars from Bayer.”
“All three branches of this government are under siege by lobbyists and lawyers from a German company named Bayer.”
“They spent over $9 million lobbying … so that they don’t have to be liable for any damages their herbicide Roundup causes.”
“The Constitution guarantees people a trial if they’ve been harmed.”
“Why are we contemplating going against the Constitution?”
“The Attorney General has opined favorably for this German company in front of the Supreme Court about getting rid of any liability that they should have for any damages.”
“By the way, the President’s Chief of Staff and the President’s Attorney General worked for one of the biggest lobbying firms that’s received millions of dollars from Bayer.”
“Maybe that’s why we’ve seen an executive order that says that the production of this chemical from this German company is a national defense priority.”
“And we know why they’re doing that.”
“It’s to keep them from having any liability.”
“This is wrong.”
“We shouldn’t succumb to the lobbyists, not in the executive branch, not in the judicial branch, and certainly not here in Congress.”
