I don’t think anyone with actually debilitating adhd/executive dysfunction finds “you people can’t do anything” motivating. I kind of really hate when people reference it and it makes me feel like such a loser

like you need to be crying in your room listening to sad music and moping to your friends. it’s crazy how quickly you start to feel better when you do that instead of avoiding your emotions in every which way
somebody needs to post that scene from bottoms where she goes “raise your hand if you’ve ever been raped” and like one person raises their hand, then she says “gray area stuff counts too” and every girl in the circle raises their hand…like that scene was so real 😭

something missing from all the adhd/time blindness discourse is that a lot of us struggle with TRANSITIONS. getting out of bed > into the shower is one hurdle, going from wrapped in a towel > dressed is another, etc. and suddenly random chunks of 10-20 pass without you realizing!
