I'm a mum and watching this killed me.
That tiny baby doesn't know about rights, or slogans, or DEI, or having two dads.
He just knows a smell that isn't there.
A voice that isn't there.
A body that fed him for 9 months and then vanished.
So he roots.
He cries.
He's desperate.
He turns his face into whoever is holding him, looking for that milk and for the only solace he ever had.

And I know that cry, because I answered it once with milk and nourishment and love. All mums know it.

But nobody answers him.

Instead, he's filmed and laughed at.

We wouldn't take a puppy or a kitten off its mum at a just a few days old because we know what that does, and yet it's done to him and this is supposed to be love?

Why is human trafficking shuddered at yet this is clapped at? You don't have to be fine with it just because the parents are gay.

He's just looking for his mother and all babies deserve one.

In boomer's defense, they paid into a government forced ponzi scheme their whole lives and are the first generation who is going to be left holding the bag. Social security is my boomer mother's only means of retirement. If they pull that, she will have almost zero retirement money and will have to work until she dies.

I don't know what the solution is. I don't think taxing the younger generations more is it. But I can also see why boomers would be scared at the prospect of losing their retirement.

Honestly, our anger should be at the government who has wasted our money on foreign wars and corruption for the last 50 years not at our parents.
