@snoopyeky I can almost guarantee he will play nhl minutes. He is 7’1 his wing span and his stick length give him a reach of 9.5 feet and a with a stride of 6 feet he can defend over 15 feet away. If you can coach him to have ok defensive iq/stick checking and ok skating. Easy # 6 Dman

@Pete___Hughes I think Karmanov is the steal of the draft. His wing span and his stick length gives him roughly 9.5 feet of reach with his stick each side. With his stride length being so long at ~5ft, if he is standing in the centre of the hash marks he can basically defend both face off dots

Honestly I’m kinda meh on the draft Carels was my second choice. Rather Viggo but still a pretty good choice. Really solidifies our defence core for the future. Hextall would’ve been my pick overall happy with it.

Karmanov can almost defend both sides of the ice from the Center. I really think Karmanov will be an nhl player if he doesn’t get hurt just based on that size. Even if it’s only 5 points a year him being able to defend up to 10 feet away is just nuts
