@Rummcajs @gregor_wnnrstrm To be clear: I don't hold this kind of behavior against polish people in general. This kind of revanchist jokes are unacceptable, but they reflected only small part of polish people.
Just like those from Ukraine who behave incorrectly or break the law are small part of ukrainians

@Rummcajs @gregor_wnnrstrm These lions had words "Tobie Polsko Zawsze wierny" and symbolized to some people time of polish occupation. To hide them was an overreaction imho, but to be fair even I heard then from poles visiting Lviv jokes about "Lwów to polskie miasto".
Bygones should be bygones.

@Rummcajs @gregor_wnnrstrm Funny, but we both placed them back in 2015 after soviets removed them in 1971, and then uncovered in 2022 precisely as a gesture of historical reconciliation and solidarity with Poland. We are trying not to make the polish occupation and colonialism the problem now.

@belashdv1 @kava02024 Не район, а область. Всі області записані у конституції, а тому зміна області - зміна конституції. Зміна назви міста - місцеве самоврядування.
Аналогічним чином є Кіровоградська область, хоч і центром давно є місто Кропивницький.
