Not a stupid question at all. Deleting just erases the file system's pointer to the bytes, not the bytes themselves. That is why recovery tools work: the photo is still on disk until new data overwrites it. And on phones there is a second copy to worry about. Cloud backups. Empty the trash all you want, the photo still sits in Google Photos or iCloud until you delete it there too.
Can I ask a STUPID tech question?
If I delete a photo from my phone, it's gone.
If I delete it from the trash, it's REALLY gone.
But hackers and governments can recover deleted data.
Where does deleted information actually go?
realising people dont want real angst and flawed characters anymore and thats probably adding to my fics flopping 😭😭 let everyone be a shitty person omg i eat it up. angst caused solely by each others actions and world views ?! DELICIOUS
I feel so sorry for Netflix era kids. They will never know the high stakes adrenaline of running to the bathroom/fridge/bedroom in a single ad break, with the beckoning call of a sibling screaming "It's ONNNNNN" to send you hurdling over furniture to get back in time.
Lots of people have had things to say about this ‘says’ thing, but imo, dialogue has a rythmn. The words and punctuation you use surrounding that dialogue determines how fast, slow or emotional that dialogue is perceived. Everything has a purpose!
