I grew up in a town of less than 500 peopleโRothsay, MN. My first โgymโ was our machine shed, and I had to beg my dad to move the tractors so I could get shots up. To me, my dad had the best job in the worldโhe was the townโs basketball coach. Being around the game all the time, I fell in love with it early.
At 18, I got a student assistant job at a D3 school. Resources were limited, so I had to jump right inโstaying up all night breaking down film, sleeping in my car during summers while working basketball camps, and doing whatever it took to learn and connect with people in the game.
Now, almost 18 years later, I still canโt believe what I get to do. I work with some of the best players in the world and have built lifelong friendships along the way with coaches at the highest levels and coaches in the smallest towns in America.
It has been awesome to see where this game has taken me.
If a guy from Rothsay, MN, can chase his dream like this, so can you. Grateful every day for the journey and the opportunities Iโve had.
Fun night at the Granite City Classic! Big win over Holdingford, team meal at Blue Line Sports Grill, and a secret santa in the hotel! ๐๐๐๐๐ป

It is difficult to have a good fast break attack without:
1. A good defensive team.
2. A solid rebounding team.
3. A point guard who passes ahead.
4. A minimum of turnovers.
5. Players who consistently run lanes.
6. Great effort by all.
7. Practices emphasizing 1-6.
