ESSENDON: “Sure, he was part of the biggest scandal in AFL history, hasn’t coached at senior level for over a decade, haven’t won a final in 22 years and the club should probably get over the messiah complex and move on as it’s in a major rebuild but…”
@Dan90091917@drewie_5@AFLNation No shit but it obviously can’t be forecful to Green if he’s left the ground. The rule in its principal is to avoid stationary players being slid into and fracturing their legs
@essendonfc You would absolutely play Guelfi ahead of Tsatas because they play completely different positions. Jesus. Tsatas needs to start laying some tackles in the VFL. 35 touches that go nowhere isn’t making him a good player
YES! Been saying this for over a year that our “Day 1” should be when Scott and Rosa had control and Dodo was finally gone. Every decision made since 2024 has been a step in the right direction, now the biggest challenge is deciding which of the players over 23 we keep
Are the development issues at Essendon finally getting resolved?
If you re-draft our last three, an argument could be made that a number of our draftees have improved & would go higher:
2023: Caddy goes top 3 & Roberts moves into the top 10
2024: Kako into the top 10, Clarke a fringe first rounder, Johnson becomes a second & Archer Day-Wicks goes in the national draft
2025: Very early on, but Duursma is the only kid who’s been more impressive then Robey
Cannot stress this enough, this is my opinion. If you think it’s wrong you’re welcome to reply with your thoughts.
Just remember to be respectful ❤️🖤
@FlightPlanPod Amateur opinion: it’s hard to know how to rise to an elite level when you’ve always been in a mediocre environment. Without “copying North” any further, we’d do well to get a Luke Parker or Caleb Daniel of our own. Players that know better than our current senior group
