Morning Public Plea:
The position taken on the payment of Intern “Doctors” should be reviewed urgently. They are “Doctors” who have completed their academic studies and when deployed they perform the “donkey” doctors’ work in hospitals and clinics. That they have always been paid is an established tradition and precedent.
The sources of funds are there:
1. innumerable perks of various officials that can be slightly reduced without material injury to afflicted officials;
2. Expenditures on vehicles when not on official duty;
3. Travel inland and abroad that don’t add value to the country;
4. Various administrative expenditures that can be varied without affecting the quality of service delivery;
Etc, etc
Finally Interns are not so many that paying them will distort the attainment of planned government spending objectives.
This will remain a constant irritant labour injustice by/for/to government unless appropriately handled definitively.
@PSSEKABIR Always Speak with valid info.
Ankole Kingdom historically had to classes of people notably;
1 Bahima, who are cattle keepers and,
2 Bairu, who are farmers.
So banynkore bairu and Bakiga are both called bairu because they don’t have cows as it was originally
@AnitahAmong , placing President Museveni in the seat of the most High God is a blunder you made and has caused your down.
We respect men but we don’t worship them..
Rt. Hon. @AnitahAmong: I want to thank you (@KagutaMuseveni) so much for promoting our young brother (@mkainerugaba) to become the CDF. For us, we believe in the name of the Father and Son and Spirit.
We are still here with you the Father, when you tell us to move, we shall move to the Son and be guided by the Holy Spirit.
