PM Abiy Ahmed Ali is highly threatening members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Holy Synod to ordain the ethnic oromo bishops for the sake of his political orommuma project. We need Orthodox Christians and all Ethiopians to condemn the interference of the regime in the Church affairs.

We need the international community to know that we, Ethiopian Orthodox Christians, are under attack. The central gov't, in collaboration with regional gov't of Oromia, has declared persecution on the Ethiopian Orthodox church which is a legal religious entity in the country.
