⚡️ TODAY: Vitalik Buterin pushed back on claims that AI hacking will doom cybersecurity, arguing AI-powered formal verification can make software fundamentally secure.
He added that holding crypto, about 90% of his net worth, is a bet on that.
One deposit; one commitment. Maybe two private notes inside.
The chain doesn’t get to know. And when one moves, it can blend in with somebody else’s same-size deposit.
Leave the chain guessing.
Nowhere else. Just Nullark.
Got out my phone to eagerly ping my collaborators on this awesome new project as to what's the latest status, wondering why they hadn't notified me yet, and then realized it is Saturday.
Nullark is not another privacy pool.
One public commitment can hold two independently spendable private notes.
Each child has its own secret and nullifier.
Its successful-withdrawal fund safety is machine-checked in Lean 4.
It states exactly what is proven and what remains assumed.
Nullark is building what comes next.
Zcash has no equal.
It has a 10 year head start on everyone else.
It was the first production scale deployment of zero-knowledge proofs in the world.
It pioneered formally verified shielded pools.
It never compromised on its privacy.
Zcash is winning.
This is an interesting idea. Recommend an exact amount from a recent shielding transaction when someone wants to unshield.
If Alice shields 98.1 ZEC, and Bob tries to unshield 95-100 ZEC within 7 days -- recommend that Bob unshield 98.1 instead.
For large transactions, the wallet could recommend combinations of values that add up to the desired amount.
12/12 Live on Robinhood Chain (4663). Read the limits, keep any backup note private, then decide if you want to try it.

1/12 Nullark is live on Robinhood Chain.
We also published a Lean 4 machine-checked proof about one specific thing: what happens when someone successfully withdraws ETH from the pool.

11/12 How the pool works besides the proof: you deposit fixed amounts of ETH. One public commitment can hold two private notes. You can spend one note and leave the other untouched, without creating a new public “change” deposit.
