Are aluminium adjuvants safe?

Safe for whom? At what rate? Compared to what?

For a substance injected into virtually every infant, the default is: no, until safety is demonstrated. That demonstration has not been made.

But 10^7 is total lymphocytes.

Infant B cells are ~5×10^5/mL (neonatal) to ~1.5×10^6/mL (1-6mo).

Same formula: 500 to 1,500.

@DrTessaT @Jikkyleaks @stkirsch Offit's "10,000 vaccines" claim cites zero studies of infant immune systems. It's a napkin calculation from a textbook, a theory paper, and an HIV study. The key number is total lymphocytes, not B cells. Use infant B cell counts and you get ~500–1,500.

Injected aluminium adjuvant can get walled off in a granuloma, or carried to the brain by macrophages.

In mice (vs saline): lowest dose, 50x more brain Al than controls. No granulomas. Higher doses: granulomas formed, brain Al below controls.

The hypothesis is specific and testable: local containment determines systemic distribution. Two controlled experiments tested it through different variables. Both confirmed it. The question has never been tested in humans with the right model.
