Lol. It's insane how much they nerfed the avatar state in TLOK. In ATLA it's basically god mode and only Azula ever beat him in that state. And that was because she didn't face him head on. In Korra it's basically a minor power up. Which would somewhat make sense after she loses the past lives in season 2 because it's the accumulation of all their past lives experience and strength. But it's just as nerfed in season 1. Lmao.

Let me put it in terms you'll understand. This is an exaggeration but conveys the same point. Say you have a Christian doctor. Now that doctor would be in a hell of a lot of trouble if he refused to operate and give you a heart transplant because you're gay. But conversely you cannot legally compel him to give you an abortion. Understand the difference?

If doesn't matter if it's the same cake. It's a wedding cake for a gay couple. Not a birthday cake or a retirement cake or whatever. Their religion says that marriage is between a man and a woman. They cannot be coerced by the government to support something that's against their religious beliefs. Sorry. It's only discrimination if they refuse any service at all based on their sexuality. That's why they won.

It was specifically a wedding cake for a gay couple. Which goes against their religious beliefs. It was not a regular cake. I'm sure they would've been happy to sell them a birthday cake. That's the difference. Denying service because they're gay would've been a clear discrimination case. But denying a specific service because it would violate their religious beliefs is their right. You cannot compel them.

Oh, sorry. I just remember the state of Colorado literally ordering them to bake it. I didn't realize it went all the way to the Supreme Court. Do you not hear how ridiculous that is? That the online backlash was so loud the state tried to literally compel them to do it? Note that they didn't deny them because they were gay too. They denied them because of what they wanted on the cake. They probably would have made a plain cake for them.

Two problems here:

1. "Anti-woke" doesn't exist. It's just "woke" vs normal people. And no, people actively flying such a label doesn't change this. You gave normal people a label they adopted.

2. Celebrating this movie making SOME money on it's opening weekend is like celebrating winning one battle as your whole nation collapses around you. Winning battles is meaningless because you lost the culture war.
