Was just talking about this with a friend last night. It's tough to get back into a game like Ghost of Tsushima where you're 60-80% done, and not remember the mechanics or game state after months of not playing.
@mitchellh@veganstraightedge Pro tip, change the default download and screenshot locations to /tmp. If you really need to keep it around you’ll find a better place for it
@jptoto@siracusa Yup at least once a week I bake something one night and then forget to turn it back to “toast” and need to wait twice as long for toasted bagel
I love this “Willingness to look stupid” post. For me, I’d also flip this and say that people who go out of their way to be the smartest person in the room are a huge red flag. I’ve had an almost universally bad experience with those types of people. https://t.co/B0Xssgj2lx
HUGE responsiveness improvements in telescope coming to a neovim near you!

@buildsghost No dogs, but my fiancé and I are constantly talking about our cats and what they’re possibly up to when we’re not home with them. We adopted them just as the pandemic was beginning 😅
@fatih@TPLINK I'm curious, is this network setup for funsies? Or is there some purpose to go all out on a network setup like this? Ive been okay with my ISP provided modem/router, but maybe I should do something more?
@jptoto I can't imagine! Quarantine -> seeing a couple friends has been exhausting on its own. Feels like we have a lesser social battery capacity and need to recalibrate 😅
In order to watch a DVD on my Xbox I've had to:
- connect to wifi
- sign into Xbox live
- update the Xbox (10ish mins)
- download a blue ray app
Maybe there was a way around, but the Xbox made it seem like these were required. Consoles are ruined.
