Hoy hace 4 años y medio que @sanchezcastejon se comprometió conmigo públicamente que ayudaría a vivir a los enfermos de ELA.
Hoy seguimos sin ninguna ayuda pública.

Milton Friedman said it best:
“Keep your eye on how much the Government is spending, because that is the true tax.
There is no such thing as an unbalanced budget. You PAY FOR IT either in the form of taxes, or indirectly in the form of inflation or debt.”
Fact check: TRUE ✅
No será una quiebra, sino solo una “modificación unilateral de los términos” de jubilación. Como las varias que ya hubo en el pasado reciente y como las que seguirá habiendo en el futuro.
Thank you @Datzel3 for this timeline. It is a good summary of the perspective from the outside.
To make the picture more complete, I would like to share the perspective from the inside, in a longer response.
Building a project like this is by no means a linear process. And the tech, nor plan is fully developed or thought out when starting such a massive undertaking of initiating a whole ecosystem. It is a journey, where the direction is clear but you uncover the details along the way.
When we wrote the whitepaper in 2019, we spoke about the creator economy and formulized the idea of how we can take blockchain to the next level and make it more approachable and useful beyond money.
The years of 2018-2020 took us to create the companies and build the Reversible ICO. This was no small feat, as we took the time to first talk to regulators before starting an ICO. Whoever have dealt with such processes knows how long and complicated this can be.
At the same time we launched a digital fashion platform and then initial version of DEMAT that helped us build out the first draft of the standards and started the L14 testnet, which later became some sort of a PoA pre-net, where all the @dematerialised drops and other activity happened. We also built in house PoCs for apps, chips and use cases to test out ideas and see what works. All of this while being funded by our own funds and early LYX private sale investors.
When the rICO concluded, it was the first time we were able to hire a larger team and start to move towards the real LUKSO mainnet. We had already started on an initial idea of starting as PoA network, that later transitions to PoS and had implemented the clique consensus into the go-ethereum client successfully. But when we were almost finished Ethereum, finally launched its beacon chain, making it possible to start our network as pure proof of stake from scratch. We also realised, if we had started as PoA, it would have properly never transitioned to PoS, as the powers that would run that network would be unwilling to give away control, not considering the effort it takes to start such a PoA network, which we were discussing already with some brands at that time.
So in 2021 we started working on connecting the Beacon chain to the execution layer ourselves, as we didn’t know how long Ethereum would take to finalise their approach. This was the time of the L15 network and the LUKSO Orchestrator idea. We got extremely far with this idea, and had a working prototype by the end of 2021, but it was missing a crucial piece on the execution layer, the “fork choice”, something we didn’t anticipate was needed on that side.
Just in that moment Ethereum successfully merged the beacon and execution chain themselves, paving the way for us to full use their implementation benefitting from the larger teams work and audits they have done. The difference for developers was none existent, so it was perfect. This was when we started L16 our first pure Ethereum2 PoS network test network.
During this testnet we helped discover many bugs in prysm and other Ethereum clients, as the route we took was slightly different from Ethereum, which was focused on the merge transition from the PoW system, while we wanted to start straight from PoS.
When ethereum made the merge in September 2022, we managed to start LUKSO mainnet within 8 months, while starting it as pure PoS and fully decentralized using a Genesis Validator smart contract on Ethereum to collect the initial validators. This idea came actually from @peter_szilagyi and was a perfect fit.
During all this time we also developed the standards further, build the developer tools and browser extension and web apps, incl all the apps necessary for the Network launch, all with a dev team that was around 25 people at the peak.

You can see that this is the perspective of the technology development, as that was what I was focused on and where all my energy went. @MRJRHDZ was responsible for marketing, communication and partnerships. We were not always seeing eye to eye on these issues, but I needed to choose my focus, and that was on the technology development.
Things are also under the hood always more messy and complicated that what it appears in the outside, all founder stories have that. Ethereum itself was a mess in the early days/years with 12 “founders” and the leadership changing 3 times. Those are things that no one wants to deal with, but are part of the growing pain of such a large undertaking.
Things are in a good path internally and will lead to more decentralisation and independence of the teams behind LUKSO.
From now on I will also focus more on the other parts of the project myself, with @MRJRHDZ leaving and the tech being launched and in a good place.
It is important to understand that when inventing something new, the path is not linear, it is a winding road with many obstacles to navigate along the way. And all decisions that we take, especially on the technology, consensus and standards, need to be taken with the future in mind and not for the short gain. Otherwise LUKSO could have never become the strong ecosystem it already shows to be, an ecosystem that has already its own trajectory independent of its initiators.
An ecosystem that is truly decentralised and build on foundations that will start to unravel a whole new set of possibilities over time.
This makes LUKSO different from other more short term projects, where the focus was more on short success and the riding of an opportunity than sustainability and innovation.
LUKSO was not created to ride a trend, but to create one.
I hope this gives everyone a bit more insight and makes you better understand what it takes to develop such a vibrant ecosystem.

@Alts_Anonymous@lukso_io NFTs 2.0 possibilities are huge beyond art. I'd like to see real state organisms tokenizing assets and taking advantage of metadata for reforms or inspections undertaken.

ZK tech (auditability) + soulbound tokens + NFTs 2.0 = Best solution for institutions in terms of ID.
@ChaoticBeautys@_FractalNetwork@Findora Dylan, you have been involved in a bunch of projects some of them related to ZK and I really trust your POV. I remember some years ago you were talking about the privacy oracle narrative, this seems not to exist anymore. What makes $FRA special these days?
For all those criticising @feindura for the recent hard times within @lukso_io, this video might be a good way to spend a minute of your lives.
User experience backed by great technology will be the way. Always has been.

Apple lost $1 billion in 1997.
Steve Jobs returned to the company and spoke to developers at WWDC.
When an audience member insulted him, he responded:
“One of the hardest things when you’re trying to effect change is that people like this gentleman are right.”
@_FractalNetwork Already in the feedback group.
I was among the first users to join new fractal TG group and I don't think a good way to "reward those who were here first" is to accept thousands of bots instead of real early adopters. Benefits should be offered to real people.
