@fujoshiromiya even if my theory #1 is true this is still a big factor b/c Sayo/Beato getting the tattoo *after* the epitaph would almost certainly be in deliberate dialogue with Eva's tattoo. with Eva's craving of exactly the status (headship as a woman) that was thrust upon Sayo from outside

@fujoshiromiya so I checked and it looks like the other Fukuin kids in Ep7 don't have the tattoo. which means it wasn't Kinzo's doing since he didn't know about Shannon's special status early enough to do it.
which IMO leaves two possibilities:
1) Yasuda/Beato got it done afterwards
2) Genji

Just witnessed a car with a "crazy cat lady" bumper sticker, a "who rescued who" plate frame, and a decal of a bikini anime catgirl with her eyes covered up by the word "waifu"
