@devinbfergy@richardartoul AZs within a region are like <60 miles from each other.. external customers aren’t going to notice a difference between talking to one vs another.
The only thing that matters for latency (and cost) is keeping internal traffic within the same AZ.
@alz_zyd_ I only went to Japan once (for 6 weeks), but my experience was generally that the minimum bar for sushi was very very high. Like 95th percentile where I live (west coast US).
And the “best” sushi I had was good but no better than the best I can find in LA, SF, Seattle.
@alz_zyd_ I think most people paying for expensive food know that 10x price isn’t 10x better (and usually you’re paying for an experience or service).
Yet still I’m surprised that the spread is that low! Far below what I would have guessed.
