He hates Ep IX and Mandolorian's S2 ending, though, so I guess it's not all bad? I just wish I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to when I talk to him.

Man, I keep thinking about yesterday, when this same guy went on about how The Last Jedi was super not great, and Rose is the most useless character in the sequel trilogy. I decide not to talk about Star Wars to others because it's so divisive, but there are moments where I wish

I could state that a character like Rose isn't stupid, but that's far from the worst problem in the sequel trilogy. But no, this guy is loud, super opinionated, and the room listens to him because "he knows movies." I *hate* being in a room with him when he talks Star Wars.
