@carlphx1@OccupyDemocrats On what grounds should it be appealed? No other President in over 60 years thought they should add their name on a memorial built for an assassinated President. Maybe when he’s dead someone will make a memorial for him
@WillStelly2@krassenstein The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution prohibits him from running a third term. But he’s always ignoring the Constitution. High inflation, high gas prices. War starter. Denying medical and food to the poor.
@ReallyThatGui@krassenstein The Capitol Building was CLOSED to the public J6. People gained entry by breaking windows. Trespassing, breaking n entering. Beating police. Some plead guilty. Others found guilty at trial. Shouldn’t have been pardons. They committed crimes. No $ 4 criminals!
@OccupyDemocrats He bragged prior to the 2016 election that he liked to grab women’s private parts. He also admitted he liked going into the dressing rooms of beauty pageants he was affiliated with to watch the naked women getting dressed. He had no business being there. Epstein’s friend. Preditor!
BREAKING: RETALIATION! After losing to E. Jean Carroll twice, Donald Trump is now using the DOJ to settle the score
A jury found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll. Another jury ordered him to pay her $83 million for defaming her when he called her a liar. The Supreme Court has deferred deciding whether to hear his appeal twelve times.
So naturally, his Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into her.
CNN reports that the DOJ is investigating whether Carroll, now 82 years old, committed perjury in her 2022 deposition when she said she had received no outside funding for her lawsuit — before it was later revealed that billionaire Reid Hoffman had paid some legal fees through a nonprofit. The trial judge reviewed the issue at the time, found no problem with Carroll's credibility, and blocked Trump's lawyers from pursuing it further.
That was apparently not the answer Trump wanted.
So, Todd Blanche — Trump's personal criminal defense attorney, now running the Justice Department — referred the investigation to federal prosecutors in Chicago. The only reason it landed in Chicago rather than New York, where the deposition occurred, is that Hoffman's nonprofit is based there.
Blanche has been recused from this particular case because he personally worked on Trump's Carroll appeals. But the rest of the department he runs is carrying it forward on Trump's behalf anyway.
This is the same Justice Department that dropped charges against a billionaire who allegedly bribed Indian officials after his lawyer offered a $10 billion investment. The same department that created a $1.776 billion slush fund for January 6th insurrectionists. The same department that launched a vindictive prosecution of James Comey that career lawyers refused to touch.
Carroll's lawyers said she never met nor communicated with anyone at Hoffman's nonprofit. The trial judge saw no credibility issue. The case proceeded, and Trump lost twice, by enormous margins, before two separate juries.
None of that matters to this administration. What matters is that E. Jean Carroll beat Donald Trump in court, and Donald Trump does not forget.
This is not law enforcement. This is retaliation with a badge.
The Supreme Court has now deferred Trump's appeal in the Carroll case twelve times. His DOJ is trying to criminalize her for winning.

@IRanMediaco June 21, 2025): Following U.S. airstrikes, Trump stated, "Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated," referring to the operation as a "spectacular military success". So why are we fighting if we destroyed it almost a year ago?
@RpsAgainstTrump Neither was he mean or stupid. He didn’t continuously call people names to hurt and ridicule them like you. Or make fun of disabled people or call our veterans losers.
@lisabswill@BillKristol As long as the price of food is so high that people can’t afford to fill their grocery basket, elderly have to decide whether to buy their medication or food and Americans have to go without medical treatment because they can’t afford healthcare, America will never be great!
@kittydemelo@BillKristol I have friends in UK (where they welcomed him with photos of he and his best friend Epstein), Australia, Belgium and Finland. None of them think favorably about him. They wonder how I can live in such a place governed by a criminal.
@tedcarlson98@TheMaineWonk I’m not in a nursing home and neither is my sister or our friends. We are in our 70s and participated. Don’t forget, we grew up in the 60s a decade of protests. We fought for rights that Trump has taken away. We are the Baby Boomers!
@SpencerHakimian Well then Marg how about convincing your colleagues to come to the table and pass a bipartisan bill and get the government opened back up. The democrats have been concerned about healthcare since before ACA was passed and the Republicans have fought against it. Let them die
@SpencerHakimian Omg! He’s destroyed the White House.! How arrogant. That is the people’s house not his! I thought the ballroom would be a freestanding building erected on the grounds. How much history has he destroyed :(
@Slothisokay@theliamnissan Oh, I thought that was the Speaker of the House gorging himself on food while on vacation to avoid negotiations in order to keep the government shut down
@LeavittMedia Hell No! He’s ruined the economy, caused inflation, taken healthcare from many Americans, increased insurance premiums for others to give the richest people a tax cut when they already dont pay their fair share of taxes. Not to mention he shut down the government, felon, racist.
@BuckyGunchero@RpsAgainstTrump It’s not just the people working for the government that won’t get paid, most won’t be working, only essential workers, but think of the senior citizens depending on their Social Security check and Medicare that won’t come. They are the most vulnerable
