A few questions for Ms. @priyankagandhi, @INCIndia & @RahulGandhi:

1. As an IITian, I ask - what scientific or academic expertise qualifies you, Ms. @priyankagandhi, to mock the research of the Director of @iitmadras, one of India's foremost scientific institutions?

2. As a research scholar, I find Prof. V. Kamakoti's credentials speak for themselves. What are yours to pass judgment on his scholarship (other than being born into a political dynasty)?

3. Have you actually read Prof. Kamakoti's work before caricaturing him? If so, which part of his research do you disagree with, and on what evidence?

4. Since when did the cultural or religious origin of a scientific hypothesis become grounds for ridicule? Aspirin traces its origins to willow bark, artemisinin emerged from traditional Chinese medicine, and many modern drugs began as traditional remedies. Science tests hypotheses... it doesn't mock them because of where they originate.

5. Is ridiculing distinguished scholars @INCIndia's idea of promoting Viksit Bharat as envisioned by PM @narendramodi?

6. Why does @INCIndia so often reserve its derision for ideas associated with Hindu traditions? Would the same standard of mockery be applied to beliefs rooted in any other faith?

India's scientists and scholars deserve better than ridicule. They deserve evidence-based debate.

The DS identified this man as a major threat to their easy manipulation of India very early on. They desperately tried to stop him from ever leading the country.

The moment he became CM, they ignited issues, branded him with every possible label, attempted to sanction him, and even revoked his visas.

They unleashed tens of thousands of pages of propaganda reports against him, both inside India and abroad. They weaponised the opposition and the courts to flood him with cases from every direction.

Yet he overcame it all. To become the PM of the world’s largest democracy. Despite all the hit jobs, sabotage, and propaganda, he remains the most popular leader on the planet.

He has turned every adversity into an advantage. "Being Anti-fragile" is his mantra. And he has made India anti-fragile too. We have seen the nation emerge stronger from every crisis thrown at it.

I believe he will also resolve the infowar crisis. The main force behind it will be weakened and broken by him. It will be a fitting feather in his cap before he retires as not only India’s longest serving PM, but its most impactful one.

History will remember him as the one who transformed India not just in infrastructure and development, but forged a confident, self-reliant nation that stands proud on the global stage.

We, @sewanyaya, have uncovered what appears to be a quackery (miracle-healing) and religious conversion network operating from West Patel Nagar area

During a recent visit to a jhuggi colony in Punjabi Bagh, our team found pamphlets being distributed among Hindu residents promising miracle cure from illnesses and other problems through acceptance of "Yeshu"

The pamphlets, as you can see, ask recipients to make the following declaration:

"I am a born sinner. I believe that Yeshu came into this world 2,000 years ago, died for my sins, was resurrected, and is alive. I accept Him as my Saviour."

The material directs residents to a centre located in West Patel Nagar

During the course of our inquiry, we identified a woman named Pramila Devi, who as per locals distributes these pamphlets in the Punjabi Bagh colony

We also met Sanjay, who informed us that he had attended the centre after being approached by Pramila. A pastor placed his hand on his forehead - a practice commonly known as "laying on of hands" in Charismatic cult - and was asked to accept Jesus

Based on the material collected and statements recorded, we have formally submitted a complaint to the Delhi Police via email, seeking an inquiry into the activities being conducted from the West Patel Nagar centre (address provided) and the distribution of religious inducement material in the said Jhuggi colony

We are seriously concerned about exploitation of vulnerable people through faith-based inducements.

Her name was Maharani Gayatri Devi.

She was born on May 23, 1919, in London. Her father was the Maharaja of Cooch Behar in Bengal. She grew up riding horses, playing polo, and studying in England and Switzerland.

At 12 years old, she met the Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Man Singh II. He already had two wives. After an eight-year courtship, she married him on May 9, 1940, and became the third Maharani of Jaipur.

Gayatri Devi refused to observe purdah. At a time when royal women were expected to remain behind veils, she appeared in public confidently and unapologetically. She later founded Jaipur’s first modern school for girls. Vogue magazine also named her among the ten most beautiful women in the world.

In 1962, she joined the Swatantra Party and contested the Lok Sabha election from Jaipur. Out of 246,516 votes cast, she received 192,909 votes, nearly 78 percent of the total.

It was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest electoral majority ever won by any candidate in a democratic election at the time.

When she visited the United States, President John F. Kennedy introduced her publicly as “the woman with the most staggering majority that anyone has ever earned in any election in the world.”

She won the Jaipur seat again in 1967 and once more in 1971, each time defeating the Congress.

Then came the Emergency.

In June 1975, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared Emergency across India. One month later, Gayatri Devi was arrested on charges of tax evasion.

She was 56 years old and spent five and a half months inside Tihar Jail.

After the Emergency ended, she gradually withdrew from politics. Her husband had died in 1970, and her only son died in 1977. She spent the rest of her life quietly in Jaipur until her death on July 29, 2009.

She was 90 years old.

A queen who won the world’s largest election majority.

A woman jailed by the very Prime Minister she had spent years opposing.

Her school for girls still stands in Jaipur today.

@BesuraTaansane The SIR exercise did exactly what it was supposed to do. It brought the tilt back to the center by removing the cause of the marginal tilt. The denominator may have decreased but the vote split is now real, and any higher turnout will have its real impact.
