I'm live @bbstvug deliberating on key happenings @Parliament_Ug
The Exhibition would have been a very good idea because citizens have a right to hold us accountable as their leaders, but it was affected by over reliance on unverified information
It needed comprehensive data
Regime's mission is clear-they don't want to see any serious elections taking place in this country
They may appear disinterested, but they aim to bring favorable reforms to them
They will surprise us with them on the last minute, let's be on the watch...
@PatriqKanyomozi
We acknowledge and commend the advocacy efforts of our ambassadors @HEBobiwine and @BarbieItungoK, who consistently lead by example and represent the fight for change and liberation of Ugandans worldwide with grace and excellence. We offer our full support as you champion the cause of the voiceless and overlooked Ugandans. #ANewUganda
While we continue to look for our Councillor Owen Muwanga whom the police admitted was abducted by the military, I have learnt of two more abductions: that of Kasule from Kinaawa who was abducted along Entebbe Expressway on Monday; and that of comrade Mulindwa Nasif who is part of our 'Freedom Boda'. Mulindwa was abducted from his Boda-Boda stage in Kampala and taken to an unknown location. These cowardly actions must be condemned by all citizens of good conscience. We must rise up and say ENOUGH to this reign of terror!
Like any other sector, education sector was also affected fattaly by the liberalization of the economy by this regime
This economy supports those few especially those serving the regime who have money to put up good education institutions so they can extort money from our people
The double standards of the Museveni regime are sickening! While our comrades are rotting in detention for putting on #PeoplePower red berets, regime apologists put on full military uniforms and face no consequences! Such a terrible state of affairs.
This is Marinos Alexandria who was abducted, tortured and raped by the regime goons at CMI. When she came out publicly about her case, she faced many threats to her life including calls trying to locate her. She was forced to flee the country and run into exile.
Recently, that shameless @UHRC_UGANDA Chairperson, Mariam Wangadya came out to claim that Marinos was staged, like she has done with other victims of human rights violations. But Marinos is still committed to pursuing justice!
I thank you comrade for continuing to speak out and demand justice. I am convinced that one day, justice will be served.
Pleased to receive this beautiful portrait from a super talented artist, Mujuni Baker. He told me he was inspired to do it because of what the picture portrays - unity of purpose, love and comradeship. We hope and pray that our brother, Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad will be able to recover fully so that we get to see him in his usual joy and strength.
I am saddened by the news of the death of Namibia's President H. E. Dr. Hage Geingob. As the first post-independence Prime Minister of Namibia, President Geingob was a visionary champion of constitutionalism and democracy.
He was a statesman who dedicated his life to the liberation and prosperity of his people in Namibia, as well as to the advancement of Africa's interests on the global stage.
On behalf of myself and the National Unity Platform, I extend my heartfelt condolences to President's Geingob's family, his party, and the people of Namibia. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
We’ve learned with shock and great sorrow of the untimely passing of comrade Hon. Toolit Simon Akecha this afternoon at St. Mary's Lacor Hospital in Gulu. Hon. Toolit was our flag bearer in the recent by-election in Omoro Constituency.
It's a Black Monday For the NUP Kenya fraternity as we have lost one of our own Comrade Sam.
it's said that a day back he had a political disagreement with Onyango. As he Breathed his last he said Onyango has Killed me
Rest in Peace Comrade Sam.

Dictator @KagutaMuseveni want tourists to visit #Uganda, but tourists are not exempt from the brutality of @policeUg as this #Latvian tourist found out when she reported theft and rape at Jinja Road Police and was threatened with jail for using social media to expose her ordeal.
