Walking Practice - Dolki Min
translated by Victoria Caudle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Happy women in translation month! This was a quick, freaky read that I could not put down. About a shape-shifting alien that feasts on humans for survival. Explores identity and belonging in an interesting way.
i'm honestly still reeling from walking practice (dolki min) it felt so viscerally trans and autistic for a story about a man eating alien... truly fantastic art
Haftanın Kitabı: Yürüyüş Pratiği - Dolki Min
Yürüyüş Pratiği, uzay gemisiyle yaptığı kaza sonucu şekil değiştirip Dünya’da yaşamak zorunda kalan bir uzaylının insan bedenine ve bu yeni çevreye karşı hissettiği derin yalnızlığın hikâyesi. @ayrintiyayinevi
44: Walking Practice by Dolki Min. I think if I was an alien who crashed to Earth & had to adhere to our ridiculous gender stereotypes & standards to entrap & eat people I, too, would be like "guys what the hell". Bravo @HarperViaBooks on publishing this bonkers book! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
