Every decentralized AI project claims three things: uncensored, decentralized, private.

Two of those get proven the moment real GPUs start contributing to a real network. The third one, privacy, has never actually been demonstrated by anyone in this space.

Here's why. Sharded inference is what made decentralized AI real: split a large model across contributor GPUs, stream a request through them in sequence, no single machine holds the whole thing. That's genuinely solved. It's been proven at real scale already.

What it doesn't solve is what happens to your prompt as it crosses machines you don't control. Every node in that pipeline handles real activation tensors. The entry node sees activations close to your raw prompt. The exit node sees activations close to the final output. Either one, run by someone malicious, is in a position to reconstruct fragments of what you asked.

No public network has published a number for that risk. Not "we think it's fine." An actual measured figure.

That's the gap Nuro AI is built to close. Not claim privacy and move on, but measure the exposure, harden the highest-risk points in the pipeline, and only call something private once there's a number behind it.
