Update on the 13year old girl who was being maltreated by her supposed guardians. I spoke with her and her mother yesterday and she has been reunited with her family. I just want to thank everyone of you that helped and showed concern about her till date. Thank you so much 🙏

[Nurse Omon 💊🩺 @nurse_omon]

Currently at my place of work, there is a patient who came to deliver and she has a maid with her, a 13 year old girl whom they maltreat even in our presence. Today 1/10/2021 the only meal she has eaten is few slices of bread meanwhile the entire family has been eaten all day

[Nurse Omon 💊🩺 @nurse_omon]

I will find a way to keep in touch with them to make sure she is doing okay and not thrown back into that slavery system. Once again thank you and thanks to my fellow nurses at work. We did good. #OneChildAtATime @Nurse_Voke

[Nurse Omon 💊🩺 @nurse_omon]

She might be one out of thousands of children out there being used for child labor and abused, but at least we’ll go to bed knowing that one has been saved. Meanwhile her parents have been counseled and warned against such practice and they feel genuine remorse and are grateful.
