When someone is struggling with a trauma or in a crisis, it’s not really helpful to say “I don’t know how you do it”. They do it because they have to! What else should they do, give up on life? It comes from a good place but instead, try saying: “how can I support you?” #trauma

Solitude is not isolation. Solitude replenishes while isolation diminishes. Resist the urge to disconnect from everyone. Allow others the opportunity to pour into your cup if you feel like you can’t. Accept support to help nourish your mind, body and soul. We are better together.
Time does not heal all wounds. The pain does not go away or get better, it just gets buried deeper. It can manifest in unhealthy ways both mind & body. True healing requires conscious efforts to face the pain and work through it. Time on its own, is not a healer. #healing#hope
