Cox lost the convention 67.5–32.5, so he branded Utah conservatives “extreme right-wing” and said a sliver of “party insiders” don’t get to decide. Deidre then put their ticket on a primary ballot that should never have existed if the convention still meant anything. His administration kept the blue election kit; automatic mail ballots, same-day registration, ERIC membership, citizenship by self-attestation, while the same ticket oversaw its own race, verified its own signatures, and obstructed request after request for the records that could verify the election. 🥩 dinner “Republicans” and recruited “grassroots” were sent out to gaslight the people who actually built the party.
