On November 20, I offered a message and prayer of gratitude for the world and everyone in it. I am grateful and humbled that you would join in thanking God for His countless blessings to each of us. Thank you for your faith. #GiveThanks
Prayer is a key. Pray to know what to stop doing and what to start doing. Pray to know what to add to your environment and what to remove so the Spirit can be with you in abundance.
How much better it would be if all could be more aware of God's providence and love and express that gratitude to Him. Our degree of gratitude is a measure of our love for Him.
Our first noble deed of the morning should be a humble prayer of gratitude. Scripture so counsels: "Pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto [you]: and [you] shall see his face with joy" (Job 33:26).
I #GiveThanks for my family. As I look back on my life, I can honestly say that my family and my membership in the Lord’s Church have brought me the greatest joy. Thanks to the Lord’s great plan of happiness, we can look forward to the future with faith.
In a world beset by crises - among people searching for values that endure - the gospel of Jesus Christ offers hope. It provides immunization from the illness of ignorance.
I #GiveThanks for Jesus Christ. He can heal us from heartache, sadness, and sin. And He will bless us with peace. I assure you that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Master Healer.

Today I shared an important message about a remedy for our current situation: the healing power of gratitude. I invite you to watch this video and follow the invitations given. #GiveThanks
So good:
“If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love. Don’t be unfriendly at home, then go out in the street & start grinning ‘Good morning’ at total strangers.”
Maya Angelou
I bear my witness that this is God’s work and He will continue to do many unimaginable things among His children, His people. God holds us in the palm of His caring and compassionate hands.
Relationships with neighbors, friends, and associates will be enhanced as we approach them with "the pure love of Christ." A desire to emulate the Lord provides powerful motivation for good.
Even firm foundations cannot prevent life's problems. Wayward children cause parents to grieve. Some broken families don't get fixed. Gender disorientation is poorly understood. Married couples, for whatever reason, may not be blessed with children.
Even in our day, "the guilty and the wicked go unpunished because of their money." Some things just don't seem fair. With strong underpinnings, however, we are better able to reach upward for help, even when faced with questions without easy answers.
Christianity is comforting, but it is often not comfortable. The path to holiness and happiness here and hereafter is a long and sometimes rocky one. It takes time and tenacity to walk it. But, of course, the reward for doing so is monumental.
Foster your faith. Fuse your focus with an eye single to the glory of God. "Be strong and courageous," and you will be given power and protection from on high.
Joseph Smith endured incessant persecution and finally heartless martyrdom - at the hands of the intolerant. His brutal fate stands as a stark reminder that we must never be guilty of any sin sown by the seed of intolerance.
Allowing your self esteem to be shaped by what others think of you is dangerous living. You never know your worth.
When you put all you are in being aligned with heaven, you wake up each day knowing who you are.
Nothing can take away the confidence that comes from God.
