Rajyasabha Question on 8th Pay Commission

सरकार ने आठवें वेतन आयोग में पेंशनर्स को शामिल किए जाने को लेकर चल रही अफवाहों पर विराम लगा दिया है। आज राज्यसभा में पूछे गए एक प्रश्न के उत्तर में वित्त राज्य मंत्री श्री पंकज चौधरी ने बताया है कि वेतन आयोग वेतन, भत्तों, पेंशन इत्यादि के लिए अपनी सिफारिशें देगा। जब यह सब आधिकारिक रूप से सरकार द्वारा स्पष्ट कर दिया गया है तो पेंशनर्स में किसी तरह का संदेह नहीं रहना चाहिए।

📢 DA Update – January 2026
(CPI-IW Press Release: October 2025)
The Labour Bureau has released the CPI-IW for October 2025, which has risen to 147.7 (↑ 0.4 points). This contributes to the 12-month average used for DA calculation.

Based on the CPI trend from Jan–Oct 2025 and projected values for Nov–Dec, the Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Govt employees & pensioners is likely to increase by 2%–3% w.e.f. January 2026.

📈 Final confirmation will come after release of CPI-IW for Nov & Dec 2025. #Dearness_Allowance

कुछ लोग आठवें वेतन आयोग की Effective Date को लेकर अफवाह और भ्रांति फैला रहे हैं कि TOR में इसका जिक्र नहीं किया गया है।
सत्यता: सरकार द्वारा release की गई प्रेस रिलीज में प्रभावी तिथि स्पष्ट रूप से 01.01.2026 लिखी हुई है। Gazette में इसका लिखा जाना कहीं से भी अनिवार्य नहीं है।
TOR के Gazette में ठीक वही भाषा लिखी है जो सातवें वेतन आयोग के Resolution Gazette में लिखी थी। इसको लेकर चिंतित होना कहीं से भी उचित नहीं।

इस बार सरकारी कर्मचारियों को वेतन आयोग से बहुत अधिक आशाएं हैं। Fitment Factor 2.50 से अधिक रखना ही होगा, तब जाकर वेतन में लगभग 40% की वृद्धि संभव हो पाएगी। सभी कर्मचारियों को Common मुद्दों पर एकजुटता दिखानी होंगी। HRA को पुनः 30%, 20%, 10% ही रखना होगा।
