“The Damascus Room” is a beautifully decorated room from 1707, home in Damascus, Syria.
The decoration style, called ‘Ajami,’ adds rich textures that change with the light.
We enjoyed seeing this incredible room during our visit to The Met,NY 🇺🇸 2022

One of my favorite Ayats to write, I often find new ways to illustrate it. This time, I transformed it into a rose using only calligraphy letters.
Special thanks to my wife, artist: Nour Al-Huda, for her help with the design and coloring.. 🥰
