Opus 5 Leaks: Coming Next Week

Reportedly:

• Launch preparations are in the final stages, with next week currently targeted.

• Opus 5 is expected to deliver performance much closer to Fable 5 at a significantly lower cost.

• Anthropic reportedly does not plan to extend Fable 5 access in subscriptions beyond July 19.

• A successor to Fable 5 is reportedly planned for August to compete with GPT-6.

As always, treat these as rumors until Anthropic makes an official announcement.
