🎓 自2026年8月31日起，新国大全体师生员工将可使用校园版ChatGPT Edu。平台部署于学校统一管理的安全环境，提供更完善的数据隐私保护、安全防护与管理功能，校内产生的对话及相关数据不会用于训练OpenAI模型。

💡 人工智能能力培养也将进一步融入新国大课程体系。自2026/27学年起，全体本科新生须修读生成式人工智能基础课程，系统掌握大语言模型、多模态工具及负责任使用人工智能的核心能力。此外，新国大还将举办人工智能解决方案黑客松及开发实践活动，鼓励学生运用技术解决真实行业问题。

🤖 NUS powers education, research and administration to new heights with AI through a strategic collaboration with OpenAI

The National University of Singapore (NUS) has entered into a strategic collaboration with OpenAI to strengthen AI capabilities across education, research and administration.

🎓 From 31 August 2026, NUS students, faculty and staff will have access to ChatGPT Edu in a secure, university-managed environment with enhanced privacy, security and administrative controls. Data and conversations generated within the platform will not be used to train OpenAI models.

💡 ChatGPT Edu will initially be piloted in selected courses before being progressively introduced into undergraduate courses where it can meaningfully support learning outcomes. NUS and OpenAI will also organise AI solution hackathons and build days, giving students across disciplines opportunities to address real-world challenges and connect with OpenAI's global community.

From Academic Year 2026/27, all incoming NUS undergraduates will complete THE1008 Applied Generative AI: From Prompting to Evaluation. The course is designed to develop practical AI fluency alongside critical thinking, ethical judgment and the responsible use of AI.

🔬 The collaboration will also support research and university operations. AI tools from OpenAI will complement NUS's internally developed AI-Know platform, while the new AI Sense Maker platform will help researchers explore more than 150,000 digitised resources from the NUS Libraries' collections.

🌱 The initiative reflects NUS's human-centred approach to AI—using advanced technologies not to replace people, but to amplify human intellect, creativity and judgment.

As a community partner, NUS EMBA Chinese was invited to participate in AGI Playground 2026, hosted by Founder Park. From August 3 to 4, AI scientists, entrepreneurs, investment institutions, and industry leaders from around the world gathered at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, to engage in deep discussions on technological breakthroughs, industrial innovation, and global development in the AGI era.

Centered around the themes "Go Action" and "Go Physical", the conference focused on cutting-edge areas including AI Agents, Embodied AI, robotics, and intelligent hardware. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, product showcases, open mic sessions, and startup pitches, the event created an international platform for idea exchange, industry connections, and innovation collaboration.

📍Day 2 · Go Physical
The second day focused on Embodied AI and AI hardware, featuring insightful sharing from several distinguished speakers:

NUS EMBA Chinese will continue to follow global AI innovation trends, connect industry frontiers with business practices, and explore new opportunities in the AGI era together with innovators worldwide.
