Last July 19, NUSP-ST, together with KPL-ST, filed the Five-Point Student Demands of Southern Tagalog at the Central Office of the Commission on Higher Education, Diliman, Quezon City.
The Student Demands tackles the following: 1) Protection and Promotion of Democratic Rights, 2) Protect Students Rights and Enhance Student Welfare, 3) Defend Academic Freedom, 4) Autonomy of the Student Institutions, and 5) a Nationalist, Scientific, and Mass-Oriented Education.
