My morning so far…I feel the need to get this off my chest 🤣🤦🏼♀️
At London Waterloo I tried to board my train as soon as the platform was announced, but my ticket wouldn’t scan.
Showed the guy my ticket & asked him to pls let me through the barriers. He said ‘no, you need to use your ticket’.
I showed him ticket & explained it wouldn’t scan. He shrugged & told me to ‘go & see that woman there’. Woman had a queue of people so I asked if she could let me through, she told me ‘no, you have to wait your turn’.
I waited, but conscious I only had minutes left, in desperation, I tried to buy another ticket at the machine, but the contactless wasn’t working. I tried to get another via the app, but it wouldn’t work (presumably because now, it was so close to departure?).
Anyway, I returned to the barrier exasperated. Please, I said to ‘the woman’, can you help me because I really need to board the train which is about to depart.
‘No. Wait your turn’ was again the response.
I went to two other staff members at the gates & showed them my ticket and said ‘please, can you just let me through the barriers’.
‘No, she needs to say we can’ was the response.
Anyway, you guessed it - I missed the train.😩🤬
As I said to all the staff members, if I had just turned up to the train & barged through the barriers, ticket-less, as so many seem to do these days, I would have been happily on the train and en route to the destination… Makes me wonder why we bother trying to do the right thing 🤷♀️
Argh! Anyway, I feel better now having got that off my chest! 😉
So in the blink of an eye, an attempted beheading by a migrant has been turned into a clampdown on freedom of speech by the Labour government. Everything Starmer does is designed to enforce an agenda that no one voted for. As always with him, it’s smoke and mirrors deflection.
Sierra Leone's first lady is finally evicted from London council flat
Fatima Jabbe-Bio had been caught retaining the tenancy of a taxpayer-subsidised flat in Southwark.
This despite living in the luxury presidential lodge in Sierra Leone's capital Freetown.
She should be forced to pay a fine and refund the taxpayer rather than receive a mere slap on the wrist!
Why did this conclusion take so long? How much did this "investigation" cost the taxpayer and was it entirely necessary?
🚨ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! 🤯
🤦♂️ Ferrari Asks Benn SIX times: “Is Beheading an Alien Culture?” — Labour MP Still Can’t Say YES
Nick Ferrari just hammered Labour’s Hilary Benn on LBC, demanding FOUR TIMES if beheading is an “alien culture” after a Sudanese asylum seeker tried to hack a man’s head off in Belfast.
Simple. Straightforward. Bleeding obvious answer: f*cking YES!
But watch Benn squirm like he’s being asked to defuse a bomb. Painful. Ridiculous. Embarrassing.
Ferrari: “Is beheading an alien culture?”
Benn: Starts waffling about the “criminal justice process”…
Ferrari (cutting him off, frustrated): “I’ve moved you globally, Mr Benn. We’re not talking about the UK. Globally, is beheading an alien culture?”
Benn: Calls it “abhorrent” but still dodges…
Ferrari: “And is it an alien culture?”
Benn keeps refusing to just say it. Talks about “all countries would condemn it.”
Ferrari: “So it is an alien culture?”
Benn starts rambling about “what is that saying about people who come from a particular country…”
Ferrari (now properly irritated): “I’m going to ask for the fourth time: is beheading an alien culture, Mr Benn?”
Benn: “It is abhorrent and it is a terrible thing to do.”
Ferrari: “It is or it is not?”
Benn (still can’t quite say it, but closer): “It is alien to all right thinking people.”
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. He literally cannot bring himself to say the bleeding obvious.
What the hell is wrong with these politicians? Who exactly are they so terrified of upsetting with a basic question like this? Is there a town square of beheaders somewhere going “He said WHAT!? We’ve been cancelled!” 😂
Just say it, for God’s sake.!
I read on here about Makerfield election and Andy Burnham leading in the polls and think, who on earth are these voters who look at the way this country is run and think, “yeah, the Labour Party, that’s the answer. That’s the way forward”. They not only live in a different area to me, but on another planet.
He's not bothered about child sexual exploitation on Pornhub, OnlyFans, Roblox, or any of the countless platforms where children are groomed, abused, and exploited. He's not demanding tougher sentences for predators. He's not demanding the closure of sites that profit from sexual content children can access. He wasn't particularly interested when the BBC spent decades covering for prolific celebrity nonces or when LBC parade around government psyop whore Bonnie Blue.
What he cares about is @X.
Because X is where people get news, compare notes, share evidence, and discover that what is happening in one town is happening in another. From Penzance to Portugal - we are one.
The pretence is that this is about "misinformation" and "encitement", but the actual target is the means by which ordinary people communicate with each other.
They've tried destroying our pubs and our churches and communities - where we congregate and talk and unite. But we found somewhere else, so that has to be destroyed too.
What they forget is that the British were organising long before mobile phones, the internet, social media, television, radio, or newspapers.
For a thousand years we organised rebellions, uprisings, protests, petitions, and resistance movements armed with little more than word of mouth, churchyards, market squares, pubs, and messengers on horseback.
The Iceni managed it.
The Cornish managed it.
The Levellers managed it.
The Chartists managed it.
The people who fought the Romans, the Vikings, the Normans, and every other power that tried to impose itself upon them managed it.
If people are angry enough, they will find each other.
They always have.
I’m delighted that my friend Ellie Reynolds has applied to be a Reform UK candidate.
She cares deeply about justice for the victims of the rape gang scandal.
Well done to you, Ellie. 👏
Iain Dale left stunned by calm caller on LBC
A composed caller named Mike told Iain Dale on LBC that Britain “will remain almost ungovernable until we have mass deportations”.
The exchange was striking because the caller spoke in measured tones, clearly articulating a view held by millions of people across the country. Yet Iain struggled to process it, repeatedly falling back on “you can’t do that”.
Mike highlighted the obvious disconnect: the British public have consistently voted for lower immigration, only for politicians to deliver record levels instead.
“There’s a massive disconnect between the political class and the people of this country,” he said. “We never gave any consent to this and there’s certainly no mandate for the scale of immigration we’ve seen.”
When Iain pushed back, saying you can’t deport people here perfectly legally, the caller was unflinching:
Caller: “You mean end indefinite leave to remain?”
Iain: “You can do that for future people but you can’t do that for people who have already got it. That would be outrageous.”
Caller: “Yeah you can. Of course you can.”
Iain: “From a fairness point of view, you can’t suddenly tell people who’ve got a perfect legal right to be here that we’re changing the rules now…”
Caller: “You can, Iain.”
Iain: “Well you can do that but is that really the kind of country you want to live in?”
Caller: “Yes!”
Iain continued to argue that you can’t “take it out on perfectly legal, law-abiding people”, clearly unable to grasp how widespread this frustration has become.
The public didn’t always feel this way. Years of politicians ignoring the public on immigration have shifted attitudes dramatically. As the caller made clear, people never voted for this transformation and the consequences of fixing it now rest with those who created the problem.
Well worth a listen. The gap between Westminster and the rest of the country has rarely been clearer.
As a Japanese watching the UK right now, I have one simple question.
A Sudanese asylum seeker just tried to behead a local man in Belfast. The victim lost an eye.
This comes after years of grooming gangs raping thousands of British girls — gangs that police and councils deliberately ignored because they were afraid of being called racist.
In Japan, even one case like this would have triggered national outrage and immediate policy reversal.
But in Britain, the conversation is still about “not being far-right.”
British people, at what point does protecting your own children become more important than protecting your reputation?
We genuinely do not understand this.
This is the best analogy yet with a solution for the mess that the UK is now in economically.
I bought a bird feeder. I hung it in my back garden and filled it with seed.
Within a week we had lots of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.
But then the birds started… Building nests in the shed, in the eaves,in the fences and in my garden bushes.
Then came the shit. It was everywhere,on the patio,on the chairs, the table,windows..everywhere!
Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket.
And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night And demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.
After a while,I couldn't even sit in my own back garden anymore. So I took down the Bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the garden.
Soon, the back yard was like It used to be ..... Quiet,serene.... And no one demanding their rights to a free meal.
Now let's see......
Our government gives out Free food, subsidised housing, free medical care and free education, and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen.
Then the illegal’s came by the hundreds of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services, small apartments are housing 5 families, you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor, your child's second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English.
Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box,I have to
press one to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than ”ours” are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.
Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.
I don’t want any of my tax going to Palestinian Authorities thank you very much. We are desperately short of money in our country apparently which is why we can’t fund our military properly.
🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨
Well done @TiceRichard in PMQ’s
Blasting the PM for his failings to the British public and safety of us all.
The PM come back very weak and non factual.
Well done Richard for demanding Kier resigns
The country salutes you 🫡🇬🇧
Sarah was totally shocked, quite understandably, by her vile remarks. What a disgraceful thing for an MP to say. Hoyle should have made her retract her statement, but he never does anything when it’s against Reform.
BREAKING NEWS: Australia's public broadcaster ABC News just accused @elonmusk of ''inciting racial tension'' in Belfast because he did not censor footage showing a Sudanese refugee attempting to behead someone.
They're angrier at Elon than at the stabber.
