now it’s soobin’s turn to talk about youngkwang 🥹🤍

“young kwang oppa had mostly done genre projects before, so he found rom-coms a little challenging. the director and staff would cheer him on, clapping and telling him he was doing well, and it was so funny to watch.

he’s a former model, so he’s incredibly tall. even though i’m not short myself, standing next to him somehow made me look tiny and cute. we had that size-difference chemistry, you know? 😂

once i got close to him, i realized he was so funny. if i had to rate our chemistry, i’d give it 100 out of 10. we looked good together, and it was even better getting to meet each other as ho rang and bo bae.

young kwang oppa is kind of like grouchy smurf. people might misunderstand him when they first meet him because he’s not fake at all. he’s the least pretentious person i’ve ever met. he thinks deeply about his work, worries a lot, and takes really good care of the people around him.

while preparing for this project, he needed some time to get used to the dialogue in web novels. he’d grumble, ‘who even says things like this?’ so i thought he wouldn’t want to do it, but when he actually had to perform those lines, he did them better than anyone else. he’s the perfect tsundere.

honestly, i found him a little difficult to approach at first because he’s not the type to be openly affectionate with people he’s just met. but once we got close, i realized he takes good care of not only me but his fellow actors, too. he really loves his older male colleagues, goes out to eat with them, buys them drinks, and looks after them.

once i realized how warmhearted he was, i really liked that side of him. just like in the drama, there are scenes where this huge guy acts all cute and affectionate, and he’s actually like that in real life, too. he’s cute and warmhearted.”
