@DrEricBall My student from last year had a persistent dad bring him back to the Dr while mom was out of town because he was still sick after 3 weeks (this was 1yr prior in Gr.1 ). Dr ran tests- and the kid is almost done being treated for leukemia. They’re happy that pushing got him tested

@KristinChirico 2nd graders stealing expensive phones from each other’s backpacks (why do 7-8 years have smartphones?!?!) and the teachers get the blame! Kids with no self-regulation/control w/nothing enforced at home except from grandparents to an Extreme! Us & Gen Zs graffiti & games were 😇

Being unemployed at the holidays sucks. Plus https://t.co/aFBLg1h3NV says it could be 21-28 days till they decide on my UI claim. So that means non-holiday M-F days, so I could be broke for all December & I have to apply for MassHealth. All because “it’s not working out” #wtf

I Really hate the convoluted government websites: student loans, unemployment, state healthcare, rmv your car…. All of them! At least in Massachusetts they make me scream every time I have to use one-& they can’t all have the same username or pw yet they want all the same info!

@SanchezMamacita @KsoT1kso @Whythe_______ @catsiesxx Bringing up the medical terms was just meant so people understand what would be put in thier medical chart or used a term by med. professionals at a hospital/dr office. I didn’t say it was a friendly term-I said it’s not a nice thing to happen to someone. Knowledge is power here

To abort something is to quickly stop it, and spontaneous means sudden or not planned, so it makes sense. It may not feel like it sounds “nice” but it’s not a nice or comfortable thing that occurs.

They did the transvaginal us & found it was tilted. They went in, straightened it & gave my oxy. 2nd I had meds for

Back searching for a teaching job. I was let go without cause at the end of Tuesday leading into the thanksgiving break. I’m licensed in MA for PreK-2 public schools, EEC Lead Teacher Infant-PreK certified + Director 1 qualified. I hold a BA & MEd in education. #teacherjobsearch

@LiddyReads @FixingEducation I also have that, was diagnosed in grade 8. I can’t pass the state teacher exam for math to teach general elementary. I have the early childhood license instead and teach 2nd, which is getting more complex every year! So yeah I’ll clean your bathroom before solving an equation!

I’m dealing with the after effects from a double-jab vaccine 💉 yesterday & happy I was able to schedule it for a weekend because it feels like the flu for 24 hours & that’s not conducive to teaching grade 2! I’m also happy to deal with this rather than the flu or COVID.

@nathaliejacoby1 Me! I’ve been lucky, but also vaxed as soon and as frequently as possible (I’m a teacher who worked for the government when vaccines began).
