@NBCOlympics The audio coverage isn't good. There's so much event noise that I can hardly hear the commentators. Especially mens' mountain biking, surfing heats & etc. Please turn down the noise. Thanks.
@everywhereist@washingtonpost I relocated to Portland from Sacramento 36 years ago because Sac'to's summers were often 110-115 deg; but now the heat has caught up with me!
Through recollection and silent prayer, hope is given to us as interior light, illuminating the challenges and choices we face in our mission. Hence the need to pray and, in secret, to encounter the Father of tender love (Mt 6:6). #Lent
@ewarren It sounds like we're getting campaign finance reform, via massive corporate withdrawls from support of the GOP. It's a painful way to get there; but their withdrawals are welcome just the same.
@NIsnthere @cmclymer Thankfully, Miguel Cardona is nominated to be the next Secretary of Education. He's taught in public schools, principled at public schools, taught where my dad taught, and graduated from my alma mater in my home town. He'll be an advocate for public education. :-)
@nbc Love the new show "Mr Mayor" with Ted Danson and Holly Hunter. Much-needed comic relief by real pros. Good casting job with SNL alums, too. Tina's touch is evident - thanks.
